Kate Cannataro MHC-LP

My work with individuals and couples focuses on the different parts of ourselves and our worlds that make us whole, and how those may interact with one another. It is my goal to help you learn to better navigate your inner world.

With a humanistic approach, we will use our time together meaningfully and with intention. I firmly believe every individual already has everything they need to get them where they want to be; I am simply here to help you find which tool works best for you. These tools will help you strengthen your ability to emotionally regulate, build self-esteem, utilize coping skills, and overall feel grounded within yourself.

My skillset is best put to use with the queer community (LGBTQ+) and the issues and challenges they may face, depression, anxiety, self-esteem needs, relationship issues, and PTSD or CPTSD.

My primary modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy  (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness training.
